Professional Certification in Snacks Food Technology (CSFT)

The Industry Professional Certification in Snacks Food Technology will provide theoretical and practical knowledge to students to develop their skills in the Food and Agriculture Sector. They will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities that companies of private and government sector are facing to store and preserve the grains for longer time.

This programme will significantly increase the awareness and knowledge of the participants regarding aspects of grain storage management, methods to reduce of dangerous chemicals.

In order to enhance the knowledge in the area of Snacks Food Technology FFSQ, IGMPI has designed this programme. This is undertaken through theoretical knowledge and practical skill as both are essential to master the field of Food and Agriculture industry.

Module 3: Technology of cereals as Paddy

Module 4: Rice and Wheat Products

Module 5: Processing of Bread, Biscuits, Cookies

Module 6: Processing of corn and its products

Module 7: By-product utilization

Module 8: Entrepreneurship Development in Snacks Industry

Module 9: Laboratory demonstration, practical and instrument handling

Module 10: Industry based Case Studies

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma, Executive Diploma and Professional Certifications Programmes. 10+2 pass-outs are eligible for our Under Graduate Diploma and Diploma holders of two to three years course duration are also eligible for the PG Diploma.

The duration of the training is 5 days.

Registration is currently open for Part-time (Online Live Classes) mode.

Assessment & Certification

Online assessment will be conducted at the end of the programme and after successful completion; the participants will be awarded Professional Certification in Snacks Food Technology by Faculty of Food Safety and Quality, IGMPI.

Discipline in Classes and Examination

Every student is required to observe a disciplined behaviour during her/his classes, assessments & examinations and to follow instructions from the Professors. Any act of indiscipline may result into discredit & it will be mentioned in her/his academic report.

Placement Assistance & Corporate Relations

For the Post Graduate Diploma and Undergraduate Diploma Programmes, we will provide placement assistance after the completion of the programme.
