Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, social and health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving.

The programme includes the Lifecyle approach in different domains including Yoga, Food Allergies, Diet Counselling, Naturopathy, Healthy Brain, Mental Health, etc in regards to the nutrition perspective.

Nutritional needs continue to change at each stage of life. It is important to adjust your diet and physical activity to meet these changing needs and ensure health and wellness throughout your life. Parents must continue to help their school-aged children and adolescents establish healthy eating habits and attitudes toward food. Their primary role is to bring a wide variety of health-promoting foods into the home, so that their children can make good choices. As children become adults, they must be mindful of the choices they make and how those choices affect their health, not only in the present but also in the future.

Eligibility

Any Graduate/ B.tech/ B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Professional Diploma.

Programme Duration

The duration to complete this programme is 1 year (Post Graduate Diploma), 6 months (Professional Diploma).

Examination & Certification

IGMPI follows a credit system based on all learning activities involved in studying for all PG Diploma, Professional Diploma Programmes. Each of your modules is equal to 4 credits. To successfully complete the programme, you will have to earn all the credits assigned to your programme.

All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programme, usually after every module) and appear for an online exam at the end of the programme. After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Diploma in Lifecycle and Wellness Nutrition by Centre of Nutrition and Dietetics Studies (CNDS), IGMPI. For all the above-mentioned modules elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments and project work details would be provided by the Institute from time to time.
