Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning

The Industry Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning will provide theoretical and practical knowledge to students to develop their skills in the Food processing industries. They will gain a deeper understanding of the refrigeration, refrigerant, and refrigerant oils, compressors, evaporators and metering devices, condensers and cooling towers and their application methods in food processing industry.

In order to enhance the knowledge in the area of Food Plant Layout and Design, CFTRM, IGMPI has designed this programme. This is undertaken through theoretical knowledge and practical skill as both are essential to master the field of Food industry.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline is eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate Programmes. For Executive Diploma programmes and Professional Certifications, you need to have at least 1 year of work experience.

The duration of the training is 5 days.

• Interactive or online live sessions on all key areas of the programme giving all flexibility to the participants.
• All the efforts are made by IGMPI faculty members to make the entire programme modules easily understandable.
• Assessment and evaluation for all the programme modules in order to enhance the levels of competencies and skills of the participants leading towards the objective of application in the job.
• At the end of each programme modules, the trainers shall obtain feedback from the participants using specially designed questionnaires.
• All learning and training delivery initiatives shall be conducted in English.

Assessment & Certification

Online assessment will be conducted at the end of the programme and after successful completion; the participants will be awarded Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning in Food by Centre for Food Technology Research and Management, IGMPI.
