An ESG Professional is a change maker in corporate sustainability. The three pillars of corporate sustainability are people, planet and profit. An ESG executive is the key enabler of people pillar in corporate sustainability. This course is designed for an ESG executive interested in driving the ESG agenda of the company towards sustainable change and innovation.

With this training, an ESG Professional can discern an area ripe of people and process enhancement and impact assessment of the organization’s ESG agenda. The overarching objective is to drive continual advancement in environmental performance and instill a culture of environmental responsibility within organizational frameworks.

As a deep dive into each of the verticals of ESG, an ESG executive is trained to develop a survey, draw up a baseline and assist with low carbon transition of the company or the sector. Participants will also learn to effectively plan, execute, manage and conclude ESG audits aligning with the audit principles of major international frameworks like UNGC. With this toolkit, individuals not only enrich their career pathways but also champion the cause of environmental preservation and corporate responsibility endeavors.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline is eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate Programmes. For Executive Diploma programmes and Professional Certifications, you need to have at least 1 year of work experience.

Programme Duration

The duration of the training is 3 months.

Programme Deliverables

A comprehensive study material for all the modules in hard copies ensuring the needs of the audience. The accompanying training material is appropriately aligned with the current Industry’s expectations.

• Interactive or online live sessions on all key areas of the programme giving all flexibility to the participants.
• Online classes for all the modules will be conducted on the weekends. Moreover, a doubt clearing session will also be scheduled before the examination.
• All the efforts are made by IGMPI faculty members to make the entire programme modules easily understandable.
• Assessment and evaluation for all the programme modules in order to enhance the levels of competencies and skills of the participants leading towards the objective of application in the job.
• At the end of each programme modules, the trainers shall obtain feedback from the participants using specially designed questionnaires.
• All learning and training delivery initiatives shall be conducted in English.

Assessment & Certification

All the participants are expected to appear for online assessment. After successfully qualifying the examination, the participants will be awarded the Certified ESG Professional by Centre for Environment, Health and Safety, IGMPI, New Delhi. Details get updated on the website as well. The certification will be awarded after the required levels of knowledge, skills, professionalism and attitude are assessed through the IGMPI assessment process.
