Certified Food Quality Technician

Of all functions in the food industry, Quality Control (QC)/Quality Assurance (QA) require many diverse methodical, technical, and analytical skills. As a working professional serving the role of Quality technician, one is expected to be thorough with all quality related aspects: from the factors that may affect it to the possible solutions to quality related problems as well as looking for innovative solutions to build more quality laden products. The Certification Programme allows just the same: it gives an opportunity to prove your abilities and add more worth to your profile as a Quality Technician.

Several specialized modules have been added to guide the participant through concepts like Total Quality management, strategies for assessment and assuring of quality levels.

The case study based approach in the training provided for the certification programme is designed for working professionals in full time employment who want to update their knowledge and gain required skills and attitude in the area in order to become a Certified Food Quality Technician in the domain. This certification is also beneficial for professionals from different streams to help them intensify their knowledge. An advanced training having rigorous case studies based methodology will be imparted to all participants for preparation of the Certification Examination.

Eligibility

Any Graduate/ B.tech/ B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline/ candidates with relevant work experience are eligible to apply for this certification.

The duration of the training is 5 days.

Effective Online learning tools incorporated into the design of the webpage make the programme lectures and online live classes easily accessible. This gives a huge window of self-regulated and self-paced performance to the participants.

  • – Interactive or online live sessions on all key areas of the programme giving all flexibility to the participants.
  • – All the efforts are made by IGMPI faculty members to make the entire programme modules easily understandable.
  • – Assessment and evaluation for all the programme modules in order to enhance the levels of competencies and skills of the participants leading towards the objective of application in the job.
  • – At the end of each programme modules, the trainers shall obtain feedback from the participants using specially designed questionnaires.
  • – All learning and training delivery initiatives shall be conducted in English.

Assessment & Certification

All the participants are expected to appear for online assessment. After successfully qualifying the examination, the participants will be awarded the professional certification of Certified Food Quality Technician by Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India (IGMPI). The certification will be awarded after the required levels of knowledge, skills, professionalism and attitude are assessed through the IGMPI assessment process.
